The Coating Process

1. Preperation

All surfaces need to be thoroughly cleaned down by high pressure equipment or if necessary by needlegun. During this stage all dirt, mould, algae and loose paint will be removed. A Bio-chemical solution will also be applied to remove excess mould and algae.

2. Masking Up

This process is the protection of all doors, windows, paths and surrounding area by masking up with tape, heavy duty paper, polythene and dust sheets. Great care is taken to protect driveways and adjoining properties.

3. Restoration & Repairs

This stage is to professionally repair any damaged render and cracks, reinstating to match the appropriate surface profile. Polymer modified cements are used for repairs to ensure the perfect bond. Great care is taken to achieve invisible repairs.

4. Primer / Sealer

During this stage we apply Andura XL70-a high penetration primer and sealer with built-in curing agents. Designed to penetrate the surface for excellent adhesion and weatherproofing.

5. Application

Using specialist spray equipment, Andura Classic 21 is applied up to 20 times thicker than regular masonry paint. A minimum of 1 ½ kilos is applied to every square metre, thus ensuring a perfect uniform finish.
