About Roof Coatings

Eventually your roof becomes less water resistant, and algae, lichens and moss start to thrive. Your roof will also absorb water, adding to the weight that the structure must bear. The fungi will detract from the look of your house and will end up in your gutters – eventually blocking your drains!

We will thoroughly clean your roof and then spray on a fungal deterrent. Two coats of protective paint will then be applied. This action will immediately seal your roof and prohibit the growth of the aggressive fungi mentioned above. Our proven coating is breathable but waterproof. It is also reflective, flexible, and thermal.

The Problem

Roof tiles have a limited lifetime as they are exposed to the UK’s elements, due to heavy rain, pollution, sun, and snow eating away at their surface. Over the years they become less watertight, and moss, lichens and algae start to settle in.

Also, water settles into the tiles creating a lot of extra weight for your roof to burden. This promotes moss growth damaging the tiles further, blocking up your drains and making your roof look unsightly.

STAGE 1: CLEANING

Using our high-powered equipment we will wash your roof, removing all debris, moss, lichens, and algae.

STAGE 2: REPAIR

Our highly experienced roofers will repair any broken tiles and re-point your ridge tiles where necessary.

STAGE 3: ANTI FUNGAL WASH

We apply an anti-fungal protection to your roof to help prevent against moss, lichens, and algae re-growth.

STAGE 4: APPLY THERMAL COATING

We apply an undercoat and a final topcoat of our waterproof thermal roof sealing paint. Available in CLEAR or COLOURS.
