Access to the side of my property is quite narrow. Does this mean I can't have the side of my home protected?
No, we access any difficult areas with scaffolding.
Where are you based & which areas do you cover?
We work mainly in Suffolk and the bordering Counties. Our registered office is in Ipswich.
How much does exterior wall coatings cost?
As houses come in different styles and may need all kinds of surface repairs (sometimes requiring scaffolding) the cost of ‘making good’ varies a lot. So we always assess each case individually. Just give us a call to arrange a no-obligation quote.
Is there an ideal time of year to apply wall coatings?
Most of our micro porous (breathable) coating systems can be applied to dry or damp surfaces all year round. Find out more on our coating process page.
Can I choose which colour and finish I want?
Absolutely. We pride ourselves on offering a wide choice of coatings, from smooth Proflex through to our coarse texture Classic 21, in a range of colours.
Does your work come with a guarantee?
Our wall coating systems have a 25-year labour and materials guarantee against chipping, flaking, peeling and cracking. Roof coatings have a 15-year guarantee and both are available with the option of an insurance-back guarantee.
I live in a three-storey house? Is there a height restriction, or can you protect up to three storeys?
There is no height restriction for our coating, it is suitable for any building height.
I'm due to have a conservatory/new windows installed. Should I wait until that is done before I ask you for a quote?
No, our quotation is not affected by installation of windows / conservatiories.
My home is on a main road. Will your protective coating cope with the added problem of traffic dirt?
Yes it will. Our coating is dirt resistant and a simple wash down with a garden hose will remove surface grime and bring back that 'just applied' result.
Will I have to arrange delivery and removal of a skip for any rubble or waste?
No, unless a customers requests otherwise we will take care of skip delivery / collection.
How long will the application take, and do I need to be present throughout the installation?
Application usually takes 4-5 days depending on the size and weather permitting, customers do not usually need to be there.
Will I have much cleaning up to do after the installation?
No, our installers take care of any cleaning after the job is complete.
I have a period property. Is your coating suitable for my home?
Yes, our coating is suitable for all types of surfaces and properties and is ideal for older properties which need to breathe as the coating is microporous.
How long will the application take, and do I need to be present throughout the installation?
Application usually takes 4-5 days depending on the size and weather permitting, customers do not usually need to be there.
Do you accept debit and credit card payments?
Yes, we frequently take card payments whether they are a debit or credit card for ease and security.
